Steak Butter Three Ways

It’s summer! Time to fire up the grill with everyone’s favorite food: steak!

It is at least in my opinion what everyone’s favorite food should be. You really can’t beat a grilled, juicy steak. I wish I could say I perfected the perfect medium rare steak, but I’m usually trying to balance rushing home from the farm, cooking dinner, and entertaining a toddler. I’ll get back to perfecting my culinary skills in a few years when my children are a little more independent. Plus, there’s already a surplus of blogs and cookbooks outlining how to perfectly cook a steak. So I’ll let you look to outside sources for that recipe.

What I will give you is steak butters! If you haven’t tired butter on your steak, you’re missing out. Yes, a well raised steak, like the ones we produce, can stand on it’s own two feet, especially if cooked well. But, butter takes it to the next level. It adds flavor and extra fat and makes a party in your mouth. It’s just a little something special you can add to take your dinner up a notch.

I made 3 different variations, but you can take them and make them to your own preferences! I usually just go with what I have on hand. Leftover butter stores well in a jar in the fridge or you can wrap it in plastic wrap or freezer paper and store1 it in the freezer for long periods of time. It also is bomb on baked potatoes. You really need this in your life!
